Wildcat Evening Camp

Boys & Girls Ages 10 - 17

June 9 - 12, 2014

Murphey Soccer Complex
6:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Is this the right camp for us?
The Elite Evening Camp is open for boys and girls ages 10 – 17.  This camp is geared to expand the player’s skills and knowledge of the game.  This is a camp to make you better!  Please know all skill levels are welcome and encouraged to parti
cipate as we all can improve.   This high-energy environment will split the night having focused skill instruction and competitive matches.  Goalkeepers will have specialized training and then rejoin the field players for team matches each night.  Playing under the lights where the UA Soccer Team plays is a fun, inspiring experience!

How much does it cost?
The cost is $185.00.  All sessions include superior training from members of the UA Staff and current UA players, incredible facilities, a soccer ball, and cam
p T-shirt.  There is a camp store available during down times where money can be placed in a secure camp bank at your discretion.

What is a typical day at camp?

Here is a tentative schedule:

5:45 - 6:00 pm Check-In and Drop Off
6:00 pm Camp Gathering and Warm-Up
6:15 pm Technical Skill Instruction
7:15 pm Break
7:20 pm Games
8:30 pm Check-Out and Pick Up

Where is camp located?

The Wildcat Evening Camp is held where the UA Soccer Team plays - Murphey Field at Mulcahy Stadium.  It is located at the corner of Plumer Avenue and 15th Street, adjacent to the University of Arizona Drachman Track.  Click on the Directions tab for more information.

What do I need to bring?

Just like soccer practice, you’ll need to be prepared.  Here are some guidelines for the essentials:

  • Cleats
  • Shin Guards
  • Water Bottle
  • Ball (you’ll be given one, but they do all look alike!)

How do I register?
You have an option to conveniently register online or complete a printed form and mail it in.  Online registration is safe and secure through this site.  Please follow the Registration tab for more information.

Will medical care be provided?

The camp will be supervised by a First Aid Responder at all times.  The FAR’s role is to facilitate aid for minor injuries; for anything serious a hospital is only blocks away.

NOTE: A completed Medical Waiver must be completed prior to the start of participation.

Who should I contact with questions?
Please feel free to contact Samantha Amato, the Camp Director, if you have any questions at all.  She is more than willing to help make your experience great.
